Refund and Returns Policy

NU Feathers Foundations (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in India operating under The Feathers Group. Donations made to NU Feathers Foundations support our charitable programs and social initiatives.

As a non-profit organization, we follow a transparent and ethical approach towards donations and refunds.

1. Nature of Donations

All donations made to NU Feathers Foundations are voluntary contributions made towards social and charitable causes. Donations once made are generally non-refundable and non-returnable.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only in the following exceptional cases:

  • Duplicate payment made by the donor

  • Donation made due to a technical error

  • Incorrect amount debited due to system malfunction

Refund requests will not be entertained for change of mind or personal reasons.

3. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, the donor must contact us within 7 (seven) days from the date of donation with the following details:

  • Full Name

  • Registered Email ID

  • Date of Donation

  • Transaction ID / Reference Number

  • Donation Amount

  • Reason for refund request

4. Refund Approval

All refund requests are subject to internal verification and approval by NU Feathers Foundations.

We reserve the right to approve or reject any refund request based on the facts and circumstances of each case.

5. Refund Timeline

If a refund request is approved:

  • The amount will be refunded to the original payment method

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days

  • Bank or payment gateway delays, if any, are beyond our control

6. Tax Benefits & Receipts

If a donation receipt (including 80G certificate, if applicable) has already been issued, the donor must return or cancel the receipt before the refund is processed.

Once refunded, the donation will no longer be eligible for any tax exemption.

7. Returns Policy

Since NU Feathers Foundations does not sell physical goods or services, the concept of “returns” does not apply.

This policy is applicable only to monetary donations.

8. Changes to This Policy

NU Feathers Foundations reserves the right to modify this Refund & Return Policy at any time. Updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
